Tristan Olav Torgersen
Founder/Editor in Chief
Tristan recently moved back to his home state of California. A history grad, he enjoys a good documentary, biopic, or music film. He primarily runs, edits, and writes for InQua and tries to attend most screenings in Los Angeles. If you've got something happening in LA that needs coverage, he will be there!
Kevin Bessey
Chief Music Writer
Kevin Bessey is an economist, creative, and avid songwriter. When asked why he chose economics in college, he responded, "Well McJagger majored in economics and I wanted to have swagger."
His contributions to InQua Magazine consist of in depth analyses of recent albums and a comprehensive review of the markets in which these artists exist and must perform. In other words, he does album reviews and talks about music business.
Madison Drew Daniels
Writer
Madison is an amateur chef and gastronomist. He loves dirty feet, hugging trees, and gardening.
An aspiring Yogi, Buddhist, and Mystic. He enjoys meadow-crossing, hiking, and pleasurable saunters through the woods. All things Marvel are under his belt, as are both cheap thrills and intellectual voyages in film. He brings such movie musings to InQua.
Stephen Ray Bessey
Photographer/Tech Wizard
Born and raised in the entertainment capital of the world, Stephen has seen it all. Really. Now he takes pictures of all the good stuff. When he’s not writing in the third person, he enjoys the finer things in life including a rousing video game or two. 한국말 조금 해요.
Cole Wissinger
Writer
Cole Wissinger talks about movies here, on the radio, to his roommates, and to a lot of people that probably just zone out halfway through his two hour monologues on how to properly portray superheroes in film, and that the best movies to do it aren't actually based on comic books despite having a personal love for comic books spawned by his dad's silver age X-Men collection and reinforced by 90's cartoons....and you zoned out too.
Emily Murry
Writer
Emily is a writer and avid film buff. She loves watching everything from classic Cary Grant to the latest Star Wars. She’s been known to alienate herself at social gatherings when she starts talking actors or random movie facts. She aspires to have Grace Kelly’s class and Audrey Hepburn’s style, although in actuality Emily better resembles a Kristen Wiig character. But she’s kind-of okay with that.
Tyler Clark
Writer
Tyler is the poet in residence. He loves words like he loves relaxing on a rainy afternoon to vinyl records and chocolate milk; he demands a certain musicality and tastiness from his prose. One might find him in the back of a small concert venue scribbling notes on the latest indie rock outfit, or showing up a half-hour early at the theater for a foreign film. He writes about movies and music.
Cody McCracken
Guest Contributor
Cody believes sporks are highly underrated in the utensil world. He also misses when green ketchup was a thing. That should tell you everything you need to know about him, but if you're desperate for further detail, he also loves to create music, write scripts, and film skits with his friends.
